We are a registered non-profit Charity (No. 1056280) affiliated to The Institute of Advanced Motorists and represent the North East London & Essex Area (Region 7). We are also known as the N.E.L.E. Group.

Our aim is to improve road safety by raising the driving standards of today’s drivers to that required to pass the Advanced Driving Test and continue driving at a higher standard then those who pass the standard driving test.

Guidance is given to drivers (Group Associates or GA’s) by a series of Observed runs by our group of trained Observers.

As a group we also have an active Events program which, in addition to the Monthly group meetings with various guest speakers, also organise trips / visits to many interesting attractions both driving and local interest related.

As a group member your involvement in the Group is entirely up to you.
Once passing the Advanced Driving Test you can disappear into the wilderness or, as we would hope, take part in the Group and its activities.
